A tour is designed to reconnect with the natural world through Sri Lanka’s most breathtaking biodiverse landscapes of lakes, mountains, jungles, and coastlines that showcase the true richness of the island’s wild heart – from leopard-spotting safaris in Wilpattu to rainforest treks in Sinharaja, hikes in the cloud forests of Horton Plains, walks through village trails in Hiriwadunna, explore hidden sanctuaries near Kandy, and soak in the cool mist of the central tea country.
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to the coastal town of Negombo. Relax by the beach, stroll through the local fish markets, or enjoy a boat ride in the lagoon. Overnight in Negombo.
Travel north to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and one of its oldest parks. Check in to your eco-lodge or safari camp. Enjoy a sunset safari through the park’s iconic villus (natural lakes). Overnight near Wilpattu.
Embark on a full-day jeep safari. Look out for leopards, sloth bears, elephants, spotted deer, and a wide array of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park. Overnight in Wilpattu.
Drive to the Cultural Triangle, stopping at Kala Wewa Reservoir and the towering Avukana Buddha Statue. Arrive in Sigiriya and unwind amid lush surroundings. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Climb the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the morning, then take a nature trail through the village of Hiriwadunna. Enjoy a catamaran ride, a bullock cart journey, and a traditional village lunch. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Drive to Kandy through the scenic Knuckles Mountain Range. Stop for a short nature walk or visit a spice plantation en route. Arrive in Kandy and enjoy the cool hill-country air. Overnight in Kandy.
Explore the lush Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, home to over 4,000 species of plants. Later, walk through Udawatta Kele Forest Reserve, a hidden sanctuary above the Kandy Lake. Overnight in Kandy.
Travel to Nuwara Eliya via waterfalls and rolling tea plantations. Visit a working tea factory and enjoy scenic stops at Ramboda Falls and Gregory Lake. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Rise early for a trek in Horton Plains, a cloud forest plateau home to World’s End and Baker’s Falls. Spot sambar deer and endemic highland species. Return to Nuwara Eliya and relax. Overnight stay.
Drive to Sinharaja, Sri Lanka’s last remaining primary rainforest and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Enjoy a short evening walk on the edge of the forest. Overnight near Sinharaja.
Take a guided trek through the Sinharaja Rainforest, rich in biodiversity and endemic flora and fauna. Later, transfer to Colombo or directly to the airport for your departure.

- Horton Plains National Park – A Cool plateau home to World’s End cliff, Baker’s Falls, and sambar deer; a prime highland trekking destination.
